Dr. Luria Innovation Lab was founded by Dr. Leonid Luria, a scientist and medical doctor with over 30 years of experience at the intersection of biotechnology, pharmaceutical R&D, and advanced formulation science.

Dr. Luria holds MD and PhD degrees in Biophysics, with his PhD awarded by the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) - one of the world’s leading centers for scientific research and innovation.

The Lab was created to solve a problem Dr. Luria encountered repeatedly throughout his career: great active ingredients often fail not because of weak science, but because of poor delivery.

With decades of hands-on leadership in pharmaceutical and biotech projects, Dr. Luria developed proprietary delivery platforms that enable active components to work precisely, predictably, and efficiently - exactly where and how they are needed.

At the core of the Lab’s expertise are advanced lipid-based delivery systems, designed to control release rate, dosage, stability, and targeting. These technologies are applied across pharma, cosmeceuticals, wellness, medical hygiene, and specialty formulations, and are adaptable to a wide range of active ingredients and use cases.

  • Dr. Wyse is an accomplished Israeli Patent Attorney with over 20 years of experience, merging scientific innovation with patent prosecution, specializing in life sciences and genetics.
  • Holding a Ph.D. from the University of London, he has a robust background in research and a wide range of patent practices, notably in genetics, biomarker technology, pharmaceuticals, med-tech, veterinary technology, food technology, plant technology, and digital biology.
  • He has prosecuted patents and executed patent strategies that significantly enhance business value for clients in the life sciences sector, including medical, veterinary, and agricultural applications.

  • Dr. Joe Wyse is responsible for providing comprehensive IP and patent services and solutions for the clients of the company.
